Paradise Cove is not just another luau, it’s a full production with lots of activities and entertainment that some others tend to lack. Kick off the afternoon with some Mai Tai’s and join in the celebration and festivities!
A Luau is a celebration for enjoying each other’s company, play traditional Hawaiian games, watching a Kalua Pork Imu ceremony take place, participate in a hukilau of pulling in a large fishnet from the ocean, listening to live local music, and being entertained throughout the night with many Polynesian and Hula performances.
Yoga on the beach or next to it on the grass! This 75 minute class focuses on power vinyasa yoga and restorative yoga. Practice yoga into the sunset and watch the moon rise. Yoga mats and props are provided. Simply sign up and show up.

If you’re visiting during whale migrating months (late Dec – early May) you might be fortunate to see humpback whales surfacing along the south and western coastline. Ride a catamaran or monohull boat with a small group tour from Waikiki (through the Kewalo Basin Harbor) or from Ko Olina (through the Waianae Harbor), to get a closer look at these magnificent sea mammals.

The Royal Hawaiian Band has ongoing performances around Honolulu, including Kapiolani Park and at the Iolani Palace. Bring your beach blankets, lounge chairs, the family, and set up a picnic and enjoy the concerts taking place.
First Friday is an evening art walk that takes place in Chinatown Honolulu. This is a popular fun event that takes place every 1st Friday of each month. Surrounding merchants of art galleries, shops, restaurants and bars are known for opening up their doors, pouring wine and providing food to those stopping by.
Most neighborhood shops will have maps of participating merchants. The event ends at 9 PM, but the fun continues into the night with thousands of people flocking into the streets.
Also participating in the free art viewing and festivities is the Hawaii State Art Museum (free from 6 PM to 9 PM)
There are always ongoing performances at the International Market Place Stage, but the Royal Hawaiian Band will be a special treat. Do a little shopping and show up early for this performance as it will get crowded and be hard to get a good viewing spot.
If you’re around on a Saturday morning, get yourself over to the KCC Farmers Market on the side of Diamond Head.
This festival market goes beyond produce and features some Oahu’s great pop-up restaurants, and other fun food creations such as Ono Pops and roasted locally seasoned corn ears. This is also an opportunity to find island flowers, fresh local fruits, nuts, delicious sauces and other creations.
There

Royal Hawaiian Band will be a special treat. Show up early for this performance as it will get crowded and be
hard to get a good viewing spot.

It's spring time and no better way to celebrate than with a grand Honolulu Festival! This event takes place over 2 days with lots of different activities, events, and festivities that will be taking place. The Honolulu Festival is an event promoting culture and ethnic awareness between Hawaii's people and the Pacific Rim.
Festivities
include stage performances at Ala Moana Center, crafts fair in the
Hawaii Convention Center with over 100 venders, an Ennichi Carnival, a
grand parade, dance competition, and a Nagaoka fireworks display on Sunday.
Join the hometown celebration with entertainment, hula performance, onolicious food, keiki activities, Tutu Flea Market, craft vendors, community information booths,
cheerleading clinic and fun activities for the whole family! FREE ADMISSION!
Cinema in the Park is a free monthly event that takes place every 2nd Wednesday in Kaka’ako. While movie night is free, you must RSVP and enter with tickets. Blankets are permitted but beach chairs are not. Grab a bite to eat, some drinks, and most importantly a seat to enjoy the festivities and entertainment.

The Bishop Museum has started a Second Friday of each month After Hours event. The campus remains open into the evening, but they also create a party scene on their great lawn area, with live music, food trucks, games, and some fun art exhibitions. Each month has a different theme that alters the scene and vibe a little, and you can always count on it being a fun time!
Many artist will be displaying all types of neat art creations around the Windward Mall Parking Lot. Make a point to stop by this free entertaining event and support a good cause. A portion of proceeds will go towards The Down Syndrome Ohana of Hawaii. There will also be lots of food booths along with great Hawaiian music entertainment.
This year as part of the Honolulu Festival, there will be an exciting relay race added. The Ekiden race originated in Japan and takes place between 3 to 5 runners. Runner partaking in Hawaii will be joining other runners from Japan and around the world for this race.
The
course
starts and ends in Kapiolani Park. Awards will be given not
only
out to 1st, 2nd & 3rd place winners, but also to Aloha Spirit
Ohana
Spirit, Most Stylish Group, and Most Exciting Team.

Every 3rd Saturday of the month a special night market takes place in Kailua around Ulunui St & Auliki St. Join the fun and festivities into the evening. There will be lots of local arts and crafts, food booths, and entertainment.
Where better to have a craft and gift fair, than in an outdoor shopping center. There will be over 70 vendors selling everything from crafted jewelry, art work, electronics, clothing, food creations, and lots of handcrafted goods. With free parking and food vendors on site cooking up a storm, it's hard to pass up!

Kona Nui Nights is a free monthly event that takes place every 3rd Wednesday in Kaka’ako, and celebrates Hawaiian culture, including the language, Hawaiian music, and the dance of hula. Grab a bite to eat, some drinks, and most importantly a seat to enjoy the festivities and entertainment.
Help celebrate the Waikiki Aquarium as they celebrate its 113th birthday! Festivities include live entertainment, art with Hawaii artist, story telling, inflatables, creative lego display, and a birthday ceremony with a special cake!
What's
life without experiencing a rubber duckie race! Cheer your duckie on as
prizes will be given to the top 50 winners...out of 20,000 other rubber
duckies racing in the Ala Wai Canal. Sounds crazy, but it
will be
a spectacle worth seeing!
This is a wonderful event that raises funds for the United Cerebral Palsy Association of Hawaii! Pre-race activites start at the McCully Shopping Center in the morning.

Join the celebration and enjoy the Hawaiian Scottish festivities throughout the weekend in Ala Moana Beach Park near the McCoy Pavilion.
You find a large display of arts and crafts, a long list of entertainment including live music and piper performances and dances, sword fights, lots of fun games and activities for the kids, and some delicious Scottish food. Test your strength and skill in some fun Scottish Highland Games.
Feeling thirsty? More than a 100 beers available thirsty? come out for a 3 to 5 hour beer exhibition, sampling beers from more than 50 participating breweries! There will be great live music, food booths with food vouchers and vendors at the event.

is an organization that gets some of the best food trucks on the island
to come
together in a designated area, and create a party of its own. Thousands of hungry folks
seeking their next
favorite dish attend each month! Explore
the different venues and taste some ono creations. Live
entertainment!!!
Wake up early and line up on along Waikiki Queen's Beach to watch a Royal Hawaiian parade pass through the streets on their way to Kapiolani Park for a day of celebration and honor of the late Prince Kuhio. Food booths, Hawaiian arts and crafts, and a line up of live performances will take place around the park bandstand. Make sure not to miss the Royal Hawaiian Band perform!
Oodle and oodle of noodles! Simple put...turn out for a festival celebrating lots of creations of noodles. It will be a day filled filled with fun activities, entertainment and of course noodles!
Waikiki Beach Walk presents Mele Halia, on the last Sunday of each month. Mele Halia or "To recall fondly" will bring to life Hawaii’s past, present and future through Hawaiian performing arts and entertainment. Featuring a local musical performances. This will be a fun free event to watch if you’re in the area. It will take place outdoor on the Waikiki Beach Walk grassy area.

Art After Dark takes place at the Honolulu Museum on the last Friday of each month except Nov & Dec. This is a really fun event that allows you to explore the art and grounds after hours to the groove of a spinning DJ, popup bars and yummy appetizers being served by StreetGrindz and Pig in the Lady. Enjoy drinks made by Free Spirit Mobile Bartenders
Plan an afternoon in beautiful Kapiolani Park listening to the Royal Hawaiian Band perform a free concert in the park bandstand. Bring chairs, lawn blankets, and a picnic if you wish. It's always a grand time listening to this long running traditional band!
